The Grove Park Group is a membership organisation.  Membership is by household and you can add up to four linked members via your main membership.

Members are added to our mailing list and receive quarterly news letters including updates on local issues along with magazine articles relating to the area, its history and its residents.  Additionally, members are invited to quarterly social events.  We usually hold a larger Summer Party, and a larger Christmas Party, interspersed between members drinks evenings at one of our local licenced establishments.

Household membership can be purchased for the modest sum of £10 for a year, or £45 for five years.  Your membership subscriptions are used to meet our modest operating costs, and to subsidise our members’ events.  Further details of our spending can be found in our annual accounts.

We attend local meetings, including the local Ward Crime Panel, liaise with Councillors and are part of a wider organisation of Residents’ Associations across the borough who interact with the Council Lead Members on topics of wider significance, such as Planning, Conservation, Highways policy and Citizen Engagement. We also arrange occasional talks on aspects of local history – our most recent two were over-subscribed, so be sure to book early.
